The Scottish Association for Inter religious Dialogue would like to thank all those MSP’s who voted against Liam McArthur’s Assisted Dying Bill yesterday.
You have saved our country – Scotland – from a very dark future. Let us build a Culture of Life together – in which Human Life is respected from conception to Natural Death. This Culture of Life must be holistic – a Culture in which peace and justice flourish and the needs of the poor are met according to their need in a spirit of genuine and mutual understanding.
Everyone – the Unborn, the Homeless, the marginalised and those in need of palliative care should NEVER be considered a burden in any way, shape or form.
Let Scotland be an example to the World, moving forward in a Spirit of genuine human flourishing – let us begin again.
