LEO IV visits Algeria.
During the Sovereign Pontiff’s historic State Visit to the North African republic the Scottish Association for Inter religious Dialogue commends the Bishop of Rome Leo IV for his efforts towards Peace, Reconciliation and religious understanding.
The Scottish Association for Inter religious Dialogue also commends the Algerian people for their willingness to welcome the American Pope.
By welcoming the Pope the Algerian Government also ratifies its commitment to Human Values such as Justice, Peace and genuine and unimpeded Freedom of speech – values which are imperative to the functioning of any healthy liberal democracy. Long live Freedom.
